Jasper Conran

Jasper Conran began his career in 1978 with the launch of his first Womenswear Collection.  The Jasper Conran brand now incorporates menswear, bridal, optical, fragrance, luggage, table-top ceramics and crystal, cutlery, giftware, interior furnishings and fireplaces.

The J brand, his diffusion line, is available exclusively at Debenhams in the UK and incorporates womenswear and menswear clothing and accessories, lingerie, jewellery, childrenswear and homeware.

Jasper has also worked in both costume and set design for the performing arts.  Amongst his works are the theatre production of ‘My Fair Lady', Donizetti's opera ‘Maria Stuarda' and David Bintley's ballet ‘Tombeaux'.  In 2008 Jasper was appointed Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) in recognition of his services to the retail industry.
